Hyderabadis are used to be pretty conservative about their food preferences even about a decade ago. However, with the city becoming an IT hub and an increase in disposable income of the food lovers as well as frequent business and leisure travel has had an effect on the local tastes, and people have now really become more cosmopolitan in their food choices. Tuscany is designed like a Tuscan villa with terracotta flooring. The menu has items from all regions of Italy, and their grills and the cheese platter are some items to really look forward to. They also offer olive oil tasting here. They also have an excellent selection of wines in their wine library to go with the food.

Tre-Forni literally means “three ovens”. The restaurant, located in the busy Banjara Hills area, is known for some delectable home-style Italian food including grilled premium meats. The best Italian aperitifs, cocktails and wines can be enjoyed from the bar. On Sundays, the restaurant hosts a magnificent Italian brunch.
Location: The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, Hitech City
This upscale restaurant is the oldest fine dining Italian restaurant in the city and has a lot of loyal clientele from expatriates and IT professionals. The open kitchen serves fresh pasta, and hand-tossed pizzas, as well as some great main courses. Apart from an open indoor seating, they have a nice al-fresco poolside seating. They have a series of set menus which are in great demand.

After Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai the Italian restaurant chain has just made a grand entry into Hyderabad at the newly opened ITC Kohenur. Ottimo means “excellent”, and the place expects to live up to its reputation in other cities. The restaurant boasts of a live kitchen and walk-in wine cellar. The menu has a range of contemporary Italian dishes, as well as some traditional preparations.
