In the food industry, especially, there are always new ideas, new dishes, new ways of servings, new décor, etc. One such thing is pet-friendly restaurants. It needs to be remembered that people love their pets and do not want to leave their pets alone at home while they are eating out or going for a picnic or an outstations trip.

There are not so many places which are open to pet, so owners of pet, primarily dogs and cats, are always on the look-out for such places. Here in Ahmedabad, there are a little over a dozen pet-friendly eateries of which we present to you the top places which your pets will really like and where you will also enjoy the food and ambience.

85 Degrees C, Satellite, West Ahmedabad

This is a fun café, located in Alliance Francaise building. It serves Italian, Continental and Fast Food. Here you get both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. This place is pet-friendly, disabled friendly, kids friendly and it also is wheelchair accessible. This café has outdoor seating and one can bring one's pets here.

Capsicum, Whistling Meadows, Sarkhej, West Ahmedabad

This restaurant is part of Whistling Meadows resort on SG Highway, opposite Nirma University. It has a large garden and lots of space. It is, therefore, apt for pets.

Dil E Punjab, Opposite Vaishno Devi Temple, Adalaj, North Ahmedabad

Located opposite Vaishno Devi Temple, this is a vegetarian restaurant which serves North Indian, Chinese and Continental food. It is open for lunch and dinner. It has both indoor and outdoor seating and it is has a nice garden. One can take one’s pets here and also enjoy a good meal.

Busker's Corner, Thaltej, West Ahmedabad

This is a fast-food joint which is open in the evening only, from 4 pm onwards. It is located at Thaltej Cross Roads on SG Highway. It serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian fast food including sandwiches, pancakes, hot and cold beverages and also Maggi noodles. This place has open seating where people come and chill out. Some customers play the guitar, others sing or tell jokes and it is a fun place. Here you can bring your pets also.

Rajwadu, Vejalpur, West Ahmedabad

This is a village-style restaurant set in a large open space with lots of gardens, open seating, village-style huts and indoor seating arrangements also. It serves vegetarian food, both Gujarati and Rajasthani cuisines. It has such a large open space. It is a pet-friendly place where one can take one's pets along.
