If Mother’s Day is celebrated with great pomp and show, why should the father's be left behind? They are after all, equal parents and yet, somehow the mother’s are held on a higher platform in the society so much so that every shop, restaurant and establishment celebrates Mother’s Day. There are a few restaurants in the city which are doing their best to please the daddies too.

Alfresco at The Lalit Great Eastern is celebrating Father’s Day by having a Father’s Day brunch. The highlights of the brunch, of course, are the Brunch is complimentary for the father in the family and a 15 percent discount for all guests where there is a father included. The pocket pinch for this would be Rs. 1550 plus taxes per person and Rs. 2000 plus taxes per person with unlimited alcohol. With natural light seeping in through the windows and amidst a beautiful setting and some good food, it is the perfect way to bond with your father.

JW Marriott is having a Father’s Day lunch with a buffet which has delicacies like Lamb Rendang Curry, Layered Ratatouille, Biryani, Kababs and much more. The highlight is the Craft Beers, Sangrias and cocktails. The buffet is priced at Rs. 1300 plus taxes per person.

The Square at Novotel has a whole array of events lined up for the dad's. Other than the exciting brunch with live counters and delicacies from around the world, father's get a complimentary foot spa, free takeaway for daddy, a splash at the swimming pool, live music and the buffet too is complimentary. The pocket pinch is Rs. 1299 plus taxes per person and Rs.1799 plus taxes per person with Unlimited Alcohol.

The Monkey Bar has something exciting planned out for father's and son's of drinkable age. In a beer challenge, whoever finishes a pint of beer first gets it for free while the other pays for his/her share. There is also the opportunity to win a complimentary small plate by posting a picture of yourself with your dad on Instagram with a hashtag #beerchugathon and tagging The Monkey Bar.

Waterside Cafe at The Hyatt Regency Kolkata is all set for the Father of All Brunches. The father gets a 50 percent off on his buffet and the buffet is priced at Rs. 2100 (non-alcoholic) plus taxes per person and Rs. 2400 (alcoholic) plus taxes per person. Enjoy the mouth watering delicacies and gorgeous treats with your father and celebrate in a special way at the beautiful Waterside Cafe.

Keventers is doing a milkshake chugging competition at all their outlets. All you have to do is challenge your father, share the video on social media and win a chance to gorgeous gift hampers for the father's.

The Country House has a special breakfast planned for the father's. The breakfast options range from Pancakes, Crepes, Juices to Omelettes and more. There are also fabulous dishes on their main course with an emphasis on continental and Italian delicacies.
