It is that time of the year when many new restaurants are launched in the city as we approach the festival season of the year. In Ahmedabad, many different types of restaurants have taken their first steps as they look to find firm footing in the competitive restaurant and eatery market. Predictably, most of the new launches in the city are vegetarian joints and also as per restaurant trend, most of them are multi-cuisine eateries. Let’s have a look.
This is one of the few non-vegetarian eateries which have recently opened up in the Bodakdev area. It serves American diner style food, so they have hot dogs, sandwiches, loaded fries, waffles and some sides on the menu. It has unlimited beverages priced reasonably, so all you American style food lovers, this is a place worth a visit. However, it is a small place so seating can be an issue.
This café opened up just a week ago and it is the second joint of Café Baraco. The first Café Baraco is at Vijay Char Rasta. This is well located on Sindhu Bhavan Road which has a lot of corporate offices.They serve good vegetarian food, aesthetically presented.
Recently opened in Prahlad Nagar, Crafted Spoon has garnered great reviews despite being in a very competitive area of Prahlad Nagar where dozens of eateries and restaurants compete for customer’s attention. This vegetarian restaurant serves multi-cuisine food.
This place is beautifully done up in shades of Orange and Brown and has eye catching wall pieces on their walls. It is a large place with tables placed spaciously with burnt orange upholstered chairs to brighten up the place. It is also a multi-cuisine vegetarian place in the commercial Satellite area.
This one-month-old waffle eatery is located on Sindhu Bhavan Road. It serves only waffle, cold beverages and shakes. It serves 14 different varieties of waffles and lots of shakes and juices to go with it. Reasonably priced, it would be a great place to go after meals.
