A restaurant with the same name, as that of one down south, this one promises to be different. The restaurant, overlooking the main road gives one a different experience from the original one at Verna. It is classy and elegant and promises a wide variety of À la carte preparations, besides the thali, which is popular in the South. The two fish thalis are only available for lunch. The À la carte menu provides variety, from soups, starters, seafood and kababs, to main continental course, breads from the tandoor, Italian pastas, Chinese and Indian cuisines. This menu caters to a family styled concept with something for everyone. A worthy mention would be the kababs – fish, murg malai tikka, reshmi, hariyali, chicken and mushroom kababs, all are flavourful. The fresh fish is offered in varieties – kingfish, red snapper, crab and lobsters, charged as per weight. Amongst the menu, the Goan delicacies appeal the most. Cafreal, raechado and caldin – the variety is a lot with a few Indian Goan options – fish dangar and tisrayeanche tonak also being available.
