Perched atop winding roads leading to Anjuna, hidden amidst the fields is Baba au Rhum. Dayini’s focus on using ‘home made products’ and a promise that preparations are made á la minute, is well known amongst her regular patrons. Rough and rustic, would best describe the ambience with wooden tables and benches with the odd large cushions to sit on for that cosy feel amongst the ‘natural’ foliage surrounding you. Open breakfast onwards; choose from a variety of coffees, teas or fresh juices depending on the order. A must-try; the bacon delight, one can choose from burgers, quiches, entrées, pizzas and crostinis. The salads are always fresh and popular. Simplicity lies in the desserts on display in the cabinet. With a full bar too, this place is sought after to unwind for a light hearted moment.
