A steep climb to this Trattoria-styled ambience in an informal elegant setting, 'Da Maria' – Maria Grazia is known for her emphasis on the freshness of natural ingredients. The wooden floorings under one’s feet and the old antique chandelier gives one a cosy feel. Slatted wood tables and chairs, speak of elegant simplicity and tasteful comfort. Handmade pastas, ravioli and pizzas with a wide variety of toppings – tuna, salmon, anchovies, ham and pepperoni adorn the menu. Must orders include the salami picante, the beef fillet with porcini mushrooms served on a wooden platter. A go to place for desserts and coffee, drop in and try – the chocolate mousse, tiramisu with a latte. Gelatos are homemade and experimented on seasonally – goes notably well with the affogato. The affable Maria Grazia with the yesteryear icons adorning her walls – Sophia Loren & the handsomely rugged Marcello Mastrioani will bid you farewell after this well-deserved homely meal.
