The Valley of the Flowers - Assagao has a new café and a perfect haunt for that early morning catch-up. As you enter, one gets the fresh fragrances of baked bread with the wholesome goodness it has on offer. 'Danish Pastry' or a 'Cinnamon Roll', this place has something to satiate one’s hunger pangs over a hearty breakfast offering. Start off with a 'Flat Iron Steak & Eggs' with some fresh baked 'Croissant'. The Chocolate synchronizes with the fruit compote in the steak & eggs and works a perfect balance for a sweet & savory offering. An aromatic freshly pressed 'Cappuccino' seals the deal. Over on for lunch, it has got a variety of offerings in their open sandwiches, salads and pizza. The 'Goan Sausage with Caramelized Onions' is heartland sourced and scrumptious with a bit of sugar and spice and a wonderful accompaniment was found in the 'Red Wine Poached Pear Walnut Salad'. Signed off with a sinfully rich 'New York Cheesecake'.
