They say when the rooster crows, there is a tale to tell. This place in Panjim is all about chicken reflected in almost all the items of the menu. Sunday morning breakfasts are a treat with three egg tomato salsa omelettes. Chef Manjula Da Cruz’s special preparations do add the zing and appeal creating a trendy and peppy young vibe. At the entrance on the first floor, go through the menu on the blackboard, placed strategically for those who wish for a takeaway or just pick up breads and desserts off the display. Seating with shades of green and grey showcase the place with an open kitchen. For meals, try the combos, burgers and salads. The lava stone cooked chicken combo. Choose your spatchcock and start choosing your flavours – the Moroccan harissa or the fresh herb palm vinegar. For the sides choose from the potato chive salad or the garlic bread. The creamy mash potatoes are a delight. The watermelon and feta cheese salad by the way is awesome, which goes to say a few vegetarian preparations rule the roost. Drop in for a full meal or a cuppa coffee with some dessert options and have fun with the baked chocolate tart or the almond mandorella to drive the blues away.
