Pass along the arterial road connecting the bustling city of Mapusa to the hinterlands of Assagao and one is arrested by this vibrantly restored old Portuguese house turned Grill & bakery. Well-manicured lawns with the fresh aroma of baked goods this is a quaint place to relax and pass the day away. As the name suggests their speciality lies in seafood, however, the appetizers were tempting. Start off with the 'Baked Goat Cheese Bruschetta' with tomatoes and creamy goat cheese and the 'Mussels in Blue Cheese'. Quite a cheesy affair! For the soup lover, the spicy 'Prawn Bisque' in quick pursuit would be the 'Beef & Crab Steak' for the mains. The choice of sauce is mushroom, pepper and blue cheese served with steamed vegetables as an accompaniment.
