Docaria is open all day and even through some part of the night. This pastry shop located at the lobby level of Cidade de Goa has a lounge style seating with a wall mounted LCD television for guest viewing. As with all its other restaurants, the Portuguese flavours linger through the names of the eatery. ‘Doce’ means the Goan rice cake, borrowed from the Portuguese, so it is the place for some excellent Goan-Portuguese-style confectionary products, cakes and sweets. But they have stuff from all over the world, too — a selection of pastries and savouries besides coffees, teas, cookies, croissants and muffins to sinfully rich cakes such as Fresh Cream Cakes and Chocolate Truffle Pastry to name a few. A great feeling to sit on those comfy sofas and see the world go by. Have some time to spare? Move to the activity desk that promotes board games (chess and carom) an excellent way to wile away the time. And while you are at it sip on Cappuccino Coffee and absorb the flavours of those tempting treats.
