An open-air rooftop that serves some absolutely delectable middle-eastern delicacies and refreshing cocktails and mocktails to quench your thirst is how one could sum up Izgara. Providing a breath-taking view of the Candolim Beach, be pampered by waiters dressed in Middle Eastern garb, to usher you to glass topped tables set amidst palms. The cane-clad chairs add its own charm and with the soft lilting Arabian music, you can be lulled into a feel of mystic beauty right in the busy heart of Candolim. Start off with an Izgara Colada Tequila which comprises of tomato juice, fresh lime mix, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco with a slit green chilli. The menu has a variety of preparations with many of them grilled in the open kitchen from where the flavours enhance the appeal. The Kebbeh Milki is a pyramid shaped ground lamb cone with crushed wheat and Tahir pine which is soaked in milk and stock for a long time and it hits the spot. You can also opt for the Izgara Hummus which has a variety of 5 kinds of flavoured Hummus along with grilled chicken, pickled chili/cucumber/carrot/ red cabbage, onion wedges, spicy chilli sauce and extra virgin oil.
