The restaurant remains open throughout the day and is known to serve lovely breakfast for moderate prices. ‘Shree Sagar’ is a humble South Indian eatery situated at Casa Natasha in Calangute. It is clean and simply furnished, good for those with limited budget. ‘Malabar Restaurant’ is ideal for families on shoe string budget. It comes with a stark basic furnishing and even has a small outdoor space for you to sit in. Vasco’s ‘Leads Vasant Vihar’ is a small humble restaurant that serves good South Indian food for very cheap prices. ‘Varsha’ in Arpora area of Goa may have an unpretentious interiors but the budget-friendly menu makes it worthwhile.


Another ‘Varsha’ grabs the attention for its cheap and affordable menu as well as location which falls near to Baga. Menu is purely vegetarian and forays into North Indian plus Chinese as well as South Indian. ‘Udupi Liberty’ falls near Municipal Market in Panaji and is popular amongst the locals for being a small budget-friendly place to serve homely Southern fare. A completely vegetarian menu awaits you here, a refreshing change from the seafood dominated menus in Goa. ‘Hotel Sarovar’ is a simple vegetarian place with basic furnishings and a pocket-friendly South Indian menu that can’t fail to impress you. ‘Hotel Udipi Damodar’ is a tiny food joint in Margao practising a South Indian vegetarian menu for those on shoe-string budget.
