A classy and stylish establishment in Campal, one cannot miss. Tao translates into a Chinese concept signifying 'way', 'path' or 'route'. Enter an air-conditioned terrace area, just off the main road through rustically blended cemented stonewalls with a pebbled bar and walls painted with five shades of red. The chairs and tables in their wooden bamboo slated lighting add to the charm. The menu is a blend of Cambodian, Chinese, Balinese, Singaporean and Korean specialties. Start off with an Asian iced tea and Singaporean black pepper prawns served in bamboo shoots. The Balinese prawn yellow curry (udang kuning) with steamed rice allows the flavours to dribble into one’s tummy and the friendly staff sums up for a great experience.
lots to say about this place....lets start with the - Ambiance: a nicely tucked away restaurant on the Main Street, its a quiet space. But the inside I think is too dark. It takes the mood away Food: Asian food which I think is average....good choice on the menu. We ordered chicken fried rice, there was hardly any chicken. We also had some noodles from their noodle festival, they hardly had any flavour. Service: Good service, all the staff are always around, courteous, helpful and friendly. Value for Money: No...we think its definitely quiet expensive for both Panji and Goa!! Worth going once to check out the place but its nothing more than average!!
The food was very tasty , especially the fish. The service was good with the personal explanations for the dishes and agreeing to cater for individual tastes. The cost was just about Ok, not very cheap, neither too expensive.
Good food very friendly staff price are reasonable too portions the fare size one of our friends could find even vegan that was nice Visited again in August still food is good
I love the food in Tao especially their complimentary crispy noodles and manchow Soup. Mr.Vivek is very helpful and always remember my preferences. I would say one of the best and my favourite restaurant in goa. Thank you guys Cheers.
We were served a welcome drink (ginger tea) and complimentary starters (crispy noodles in oriental sauce). Enjoyed the Thai Green Curry. Practically everything we ordered was good. Service was also good. So overall, a very nice experience.
