A Goan themed popular pub in Jubilee Hills, Calangoat tries to replicate the sea-side shacks of Goa with hay thatched roofing and cane furniture. The highlight of the décor is some bright and colourful murals on the wall, painted by some well-known local artists of Hyderabad. The place is known for some good retro music, and evenings are quite crowded here. The bar menu has a host of nice cocktails including a variety of martinis and shots, apart from a nice collection of liquor both Indian and International. The place serves mostly bar food and has some good momos, sliders and other light munchings. 'Bacon Wrapped Prawns', 'Sauteed Mushrooms' and 'Devilled Sausages' are some of the picks from the finger food here. The spicy Telugu dishes available here such as 'Mirpakai Kodi' and 'Miryala Mamsam' are often preferred by the locals. The wait staff is enthusiastic and the service is quick, but overall, the taste of the food needs a little improvement.
