The Begumpet outlet of this Chinese restaurant brand from Speciality Restaurants Ltd is located in a building opposite the Telangana Chief Minister’s residence. The décor is distinctively oriental with 2 statues of Chinese warriors greeting you at the entrance. Another small statue of Buddha adorns the side wall. The restaurant is known for their dim sums, 'Edamame Dumpling with Truffle Oil' and 'Prawn Siu Mai with Lemon Grass' being some of my favourites among these. Among the soups, their 'Eight Treasure Soup' with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian variants deserves a mention. People who like spicy preparations can try the 'Mixed Seafood in a Hot Pot' or 'Jiang’s Chilli Chicken'. 'Stir Fried Teriyaki Mushroom' is a hit among vegetarians. They have a value-for-money buffet laid out for lunch on both weekdays and weekends, which is favoured by a large section of their clientele. Service is quick and pleasing.
