When MOB began, it was the only place where a beer lover could get decent brews in the city. Now, with almost a dozen microbreweries, beer lovers a spoilt for choice. However, MOB still remains one of the best spots in the city for anyone who enjoys beer. From the widely loved Belgian Wit and Blondes to the historic Trappist beers and boozy Tripels, the beer selection here is magnificent. There are several award-winning brews on offer here. whether you are a casual beer drinker or a connoisseur, you are sure to find something that you love. If hops are your best friend, try the 'Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor', which features as many as 5 different hops. If you are looking for something easy going, take a look at the 'La Pecheresse' or the 'Blanche De Namur'. The food selection, which is a mix of European, Oriental, and Indian cuisines, is simple but appropriate. 'Garlic Toasties', 'Nachos', and 'Sea Food Platters' are my usual orders here.
This was my second visit to MOB... Had been there for dinner during a previous visit to the city... Had liked the Belgian Beer and the food... The live music was the cherry on the cake... Hence we chose it as the venue for our Sunday lunch during this visit... Initially we were a little disappointed as quite a few of the beer that were in the menu were out of stock... However, what they served, as in the Divine, Sloebar, Gouden Carolus Ambrio, Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor were all good... The food was delicious... We had Butter Garlic Prawns, Hummus Plate with Pita Bread, Grilled Chicken Satay, Non vegetarian Pizza, Chicken cutlets, Tapioca Chips... We skipped desserts as there weren’t many options... We loved the time spent as we had the liberty of catching up, chatting away to glory while enjoying the awesome food...
A must for beer lovers. Belgian beer especially. Highly recommend Witte. Greay food as well. The best part is service. Real quick.
Found this place on TA. Planned a visit on a Monday afternoon. Little problem in locating it, it’s located in the lane of the back side of the Apollo Hospital. Google maps stop/show it at the front gate of the hospital. Being a Monday afternoon they weren’t ready for Service and said it will open after 4 pm but Zomato and TA showed open from 12 noon. They do let us sit after wait of sometime. The so called happy hour is only on Draught Beers. The draught beers have limited choices, not all mentioned in the menu are available. Food was good. Service was fine. The beers were the show stealer, specially the Trappist-Westmalle Dubbel. Another beer which I would recommend is Sloeber. On the higher side for the pockets but worth the Belgian Beer Experience in India. The minus was - they charge for the testers of the draught.
The Best best palce for beers. Ambiance and decor is quite good. The quality of food is also very good. You will get almost all the varieties of belgium Beers. Service and code of staff is very good. No doubt you will have fun with all.
Awesome Belgian beer. Get to taste what real beer tastes like. Less crowded on weekdays. A must visit place in Hyderabad.
