Saffron Soul, the all-day dining restaurant at Marigold Hotel occupies most of the lobby level area. The high ceiling adds to the open look of the place, and the intricate roof lighting enhances the decor. The restaurant is much acclaimed for its breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, which are laid out at the far end, with some dishes being served from the open kitchen next to it. Apart from some good Indian and continental dishes, the salad counter here is attractive with many healthy dishes. One more thing to look forward in the buffet is the dessert selection, they always have a very rich collection of items here. The continental fare from the a-la-carte menu is especially good, the 'Grilled Jumbo Prawns' and 'New Zealand Rack of Lambs' especially impress. 'Sarson Malai Pomfret' and 'Lamb Rogan Josh' are the picks from the Indian menu. With the wait staff always on their toes, the overall experience has always been good.
