Stepping into Scotchman feels like a blast from the past. There are only a few tables, but the seating is cosy and comfy. There is no loud music, and the small screens enthusiastically broadcast all live sporting events of mass interest. The waiters might not be suave but they are warm and hospitable. Most of the patrons are known faces -regulars from the neighbourhood or hotel guests. Cocktails are not a part of the hardbound menu; a select few old-school cocktails are mentioned in a printed piece of paper. Liquor is economical and served promptly. Beer and IMFL are the usual orders. The entire a la carte menu from the adjacent Abids Bistro is at your disposal. If you are a non-vegetarian, I would recommend sticking to chicken and prawn dishes.
