The first place to exclusively offer Thai food in Hyderabad is part of the restaurant chain from Taj Hotels and is located at Vivanta, Begumpet. Even after 5 years of operations, it remains the preferred destination for Thai food in the city with some fiercely loyal clientele, though in my opinion there has been a little drop in the quality of food. A highlight of this restaurant is the only exclusive 'Thai Sunday Brunch' in the city, where a 7-course meal is offered along with the best liquor. The a-la-carte menu here is pretty comprehensive too and offers most of the popular Thai dishes. I have a long list of favourites here - 'Pla Yang Bai Kluay' (Banana leaf wrapped fish fillet), 'Poh Taek' (a seafood soup), 'Som Tam' and 'Patani' (Stir Fried Lamb). Among desserts try the 'Tub Tim Grob' (water chestnut jellies in coconut milk) or 'Khao Niar Ngor' (sticky rice pudding in mango sauce). Service is extremely attentive.
We were lucky that it was a rainy day and the restaurant was quite empty, even though it was a Friday night. Overall experience was very good. Excellent service, very good food and good ambience. Absolute value for money
The food and the ambience was amazing. The staffs are polite and very much helpful . I really didn't know how to choose the dishes but they have helped me. Asangla, Sangey, Subhodeep, Pripankar and Mr. Ajay Mansingh were really great and I was able to taste few amazing dishes....

We went to celebrate yet another birthday at the thai pavillion and were really satisfied Joe always gives the best curated menus and service - and the whole team knows you on first name basis The green curry pad thai corn cakes were all glorious ! Love it ! Have been visiting for the past 25 years and not disappointed even once That’s a 3 Michelin star !!!!
Located right at the entry of Taj Vivanta, Thai Pavilion has been the pioneering restaurant for authentic Thai cuisine in the city since the past 25 years or more. One of the head stewrad's there by the name of Joe, is as old as the restaurant itself, and offers superb suggestions from the menu once you give him your preferences. The decor itself is contemporary with Thai masks along one wall, and gives you a very warm welcoming feel. The food itself is delicious. The soft shelled crabs and the duck liver are my favorites. If you want Thai food, you cannot go wrong here.
