This 56-seater is the Indian specialty restaurant at Myx, the eponymous penthouse nightclub (one of the hottest in the city) that occupies the top two floors of the building (that used to be Sourav’s) off Park Street. It is a good-looking place done in shades of gold and ivory complemented with woodwork, plush seating and a pretty glass wall fountain. The menu is pan Indian with a focus on tandoor specialties. The usual malai and tikka kababs are there, but at Aaira try their signature numbers such as the Murgh Rosali Kabab (chicken breast stuffed with minced chicken and melted cheese, smothered with fiery tikka spices and char-grilled) or the perfectly flaky kali miri machhli (juicy chunks of char-grilled fish laced with a black pepper flavoured creamy marinade). There are few interesting mains such as the dabba gosht, a rich mutton curry that comes in an egg wrap. The onion cheese kulcha is a must try.
