A warm colour scheme, wine barrels converted into tables, comfy sofas, quirky paraphernalia and lampshades made of metal watering cans, a charming blackboard menu and wine display racks make for the setting at this charming café situated right in the heart of the city’s IT hub. It occupies the same spot previously occupied by the Back to the Desi Café, which was reinvented as the Bakstage: The Wine Room (after the rock-theme pub by the same name above) only recently. They serve a typical café style menu with a large selection of sandwiches, small bites, pizzas (very popular) and their signature Nazza (a fusion of naan and pizza) that come with paneer or chicken tikka toppings. And the wine rack has an impressive selection of domestic and international labels.
