Oh what a place! That will be your reaction as you finish licking your fingers and polishing of a plate of paranthas with extra butter on the side. It is almost a blink and you miss it place in one of the by-lanes of Sarat Bose Road. Very Punjabi decor with colourful bangles and parande adoring the walls and simple multicoloured tables with benches is what gives the place a very happy vibe. The food is outstanding. They have a simple menu with a myriad of options for parantha stuffings, some regular and mostly very innovative and some starters and rice dishes. Chicken Hawaiian parantha is a killer dish with pineapples, chicken and cheese. So is the Mint and Rosemary Roasted Lamb Parantha where the lamb is shredded adding to the texture. If you are a rice lover then the Rajma Chawal is your best bet. Kolkata is deprived of this North Indian comfort food and this one is brilliant.
