Started by the celebrity food show hostess, Sudipa Chatterjee, this restaurant got all the buzz and hype that one can expect from such an establishment. The restaurant has a fantastic location advantage, but it is quite small and the seating area is cramped up, making it a not so pleasurable dining experience. On weekends, they have a buffet spread which is absolutely basic and minimal. I would rather go for the À la carte menu where there are some usual as well as some unique dishes. The food is typically from epar bangle, i.e. West Bengal and as suspected, the sweetness quotient in every dish is exceedingly high. Try the Diamond Fish Fry, Moong Dal with Macher Matha, Maidan Mutton Stew, Ilish Bhapa etc and you will be not be disappointed.
