4.2/5

This is the cafe option of Nikhil Chibb's Oriental restaurant, Busaba. The menu is limited and the food is cheaper than at Busaba. The original Busago outlet at Bandra's Pali Naka is pretty small. They make some flavourful South Asian curries of which the house specialty is the Burmese khow suey which they spell as kaukswe. The Korean bulgogi is available here and they make some lovely pork momos too.

Serves good authentic Thai food

This place is a very good option for some authentic Asian cuisine. You can find here Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese dishes. Coming to the food, I tried : 1) Coconut nimbu pani - A very unique an excellent combination of coconut water along with lemon. Do try it. 2) Tibetan chicken momos - A freshly prepared serving of steamed chicken momos. Worth a try. 3) That green curry chicken - Typical Thai green curry served along with either rice or noodles. You also get assorted condiments which very well enhance the flavour of the dish. 4) Chocolate mousse - A very delicious dessert to end your meal with. I absolutely loved this one.

Terrible service for sit in diners.....food is good ! Thank god

Giving this place poor rating because of the slow service and attitude of staff. The food however is good and well priced. The small joint seems to be more interested in handing out parcels to zomato/swiggy rather than concentrating on sit in diners. Had a terrible time yesterday for dinner when I had to remind the staff several time to serve our order. It took almost for ever to get served, eventually left in disgust . Hope they improve the services which in the past have been much better.

Authentic Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese Food

Located right opposite to Gold's gym at Pali Naka, Busago is a small quaint little outlet serving some really delicious and authentic Asian, Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese food. It is a small place, with indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating is a bit cramped up with just 4-5 small tables. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. Here's what we tried: 1. Coconut Nimbu Pani: A Fresh beverage made fresh out of coconut. Very refreshing! 2. Tibetan Chicken Momos: 6 piece pipping hot chicken Momos. Nice, loved the filling but would have loved it if it was served with the authentic Tibetan momo sauce! 3. Chicken Barbeque Bao: Would highly recommend it. Not all places serve good baos. But, trust us the baos we had here were just too good. And a must try for people who love baos. Barbeque chicken stuffed inside fresh baos and topped with fried onions, peanuts, pickled cucumber- carrot and mint. 4. Burmese kaukswe Chicken: Noodles served with a coconut curry and different condiments to add on according to your tastebuds. The curry was subtle, had the right textures. This is the most Recommended dish here at BusaGo. 5. Sesame Chicken with Egg fried rice: Sesame chicken gravy served over egg fried rice. Nice and comforting. 👌 6. Chocolate mousse: Simple yet presentable. Rich and light. Loved it. Overall experience: Ambience: 4/5 Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Value for money: 4.5/5

Pan Asian at it's best ❤️

Always been a fan of Korean Food and have always craved to have it . Well Busago satisfied all those cravings perfectly. Quiet a cozy and warm ambience to the place with great staff and they are very courteous . The food takes a bit of time to be served. But it's worth the wait. Great texture and great flavors to the dishes present on their menu. Every dish is authentically made it great quantities. One should try their new dishes on their menu that's the Sushi and the bao . Traditionally made with perfect flavours which is not to be missed. Must try dishes 1- Peach Ice Tea 2- Coconut Lemon water 3- Crispy Prawns Bao - Bao with wasabi sauce , pickled carrot, cucumber, peanuts and Crispy Tiger Prawns and must say the Prawns was very fresh . 4- Bulgogi Sushi a traditional sushi made with rice and having a beef stuffing inside wrapped around with Nori which is a kind of sea weed used to roll up the sushi. Subtle flavors with spiciness to the beef filling inside. Must try out. 5- Busa Bowl - A traditional staple Korean food with rice and curry. The curry is mix stir fry veggies soy sauce base curry. 6- Kaukswe - A traditional Korean dish with noodles and curry, Buremse prawns curry with a coconut milk base with a bit spiciness in it . Its served separately with spring onions , chilli flakes , boiled egg , peanuts mix all of it together and surely you are going to love it !! . 7- Flourless Chocolate Cake - probably the best dessert I have ever had !! Special mention to Pradeep and babulal for serving us and making it an amazing experience for us.

About BusaGo, Pali Hill, Bandra West, Western Suburbs

There is a lot we still don’t know about Pan Asian cuisine. South East Asian belt for example is one of the most gastronomically tackled regions in Asia and we can’t help but beg for more. Restaurants are truly dedicated towards exploring the culinary depth of this belt, which is why several new eateries are popping up all over Mumbai. One of the names to hit the gastronomic circuit in Mumbai is ‘BusaGo’, a more reasonable version of it’s sister, Busaba. Since it’s opening, the restaurant is flooded by excited gourmets who finally have a chance to devour good Pan Asian cuisine for pocket-friendly prices. So was it’s popularity that BusaGo opened up several more outlets in various corners of the city. The Banda one is our favorite however. It’s tucked in Gasper Enclave, St John Road, Pali Hill at Bandra West.

To describe, the menu of BusaGo is a vast rendition of authentic Pan Asian cuisine encompassing a number of oriental regional dishes under one name. You will have a chance to enjoy Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and even Tibetan cuisines under BusaGo’s umbrella. Run by Chef Nikhil Chibb, BusaGo is a culinary revelation. Food is a lot reasonable than his flagship restaurant so you will see this eatery perpetually packed. If you like a particular sauce, you have an option to buy and take it home with you. Whet your appetite with appetizers like, prawn salt & pepper, pho soup, pork momo, gado gado salad, wok tossed house special and so much more. Further tickle your palate with an assortment of mains. Kaffir lime stir fry, red Thai curry, Cambodian curry, bulgogi, Mekong sizzling curry, would do nicely.

For busy Mumbaikers BusaGo offers a Busa bowl section on the menu, which features quick yet fulfilling bowl meals. Round off the evening by opting for a decadent dessert such as, lemon tart, chocolate mousse, banoffee tart, flourless chocolate cake and chocolate tart. Alcohol is not served here. Ask your server what is available to drink. Parking can be a nightmare out here. Dining room at BusaGo is a humble sight. With a simple, unpretentious décor they keep their focus solely on good food. While the décor may not move you to Instagram, the food certainly will. Food is affordably priced and is yummy, a combo that is hard to find in insanely expensive Mumbai. They do home delivery.
