This North Indian and Mughlai restaurant in Thane has been a favourable choice of menu and that is not only because it is well done and the service is fine. It is also because the food is quite delicious and most of it is very true to the taste of what it says. The menu is a good mix of chaat, appetizers and mains but the non-vegetarian variety in chaat options is very nice and appealing. The ‘Chicken Kheema Paratha’ is a nice option if you are looking to break the monotony of what all Mughlai dishes you have been eating. The vegetarians have enough choice as well, ‘Multani Mushroom’ being one of the finest, with its marination game real strong. There is a whole list of seafood appetizers which are finished in the tandoor and you can always opt for whatever is fresh and available as per catch of the day. For mains, make sure you try the ‘Rogan Josh’ if you love Mutton, it is a very well prepared dish. The portion size is massive and you really must be around 3 people to share and finish the whole dish. Get this along with the ‘Amritsari Chur-Chur Naan’, it is very earthy and has a nice touch of garam masala and oil on it, yum! The desserts include a good range of Indian ones that we see commonly. The ‘Shahi Tukda’ and ‘Lachhedar Rabdi’ are the top sellers.
