The Shalimar Hotel at Kemps Corner launched their brand-new bar and lounge called District. There is nothing fancy or pretentious about this new South Bombay eatery; the entire space is inviting and encourages patrons to drop by in casual attire (or in whatever they feel most comfortable), sit back and enjoy a drink and some nibbles. There is enough alcohol to pick from, including a very interesting Pimms cocktail served in a hookah bowl (literally a bowl shaped like a mini hookah and full of fresh fruit). Food consists of starters and mostly Indian tikkas and kababs that the hotel is known for.
