Celebrated chef Hemant Oberoi’s restaurant named after him is every bit the regal fine-dining place that he set out to create. The tasteful décor in wood with high ceilings, snazzy lights and installations, enhances the refined ambience. There is a cosy Private Dining Area (PDR) for small groups. Modern European cuisine with Peruvian and Japanese influences with his characteristic twist is what he offers. Vegetarian options abound. Such is the menu that one wants to try everything but then opts for something more manageable. The food is well-presented, sophisticated and delicious, using the best of ingredients and global techniques which excite both the appetite and imagination. 'Tomato Get Together' is a medley of three varieties of cherry tomatoes, with a simple dressing, along with a sorbet and flavours that entice your taste buds. The 'Sheesha of Chilled Melon Gazpacho with Coconut Snow' is delicate and refreshing. 'Chilean Sea Bass' on a bed of orzo spinach with a Po Hai Ho Chilli dressing is so well-judged and balanced that there is nothing unnecessary in it and nothing missing either. The 'Three Milk Parfait' is unique and dexterously blended. The service shines as does the affable staff who is well-trained.
