You can never go wrong with a Keralite restaurant packed with Malayalis looking for home food. They have a ground floor section and a slightly larger upper one. Seating can be cramped but the food is soul uplifting. Try the vegetarian banana leaf sadya (thali) served on the upper floor or the unique short-grained rice Kerala biryani or the karimeen fry and the coconut milk-based Kerala fish curry.
