The classy décor at this Latin American tapas bar, started by Michelin starred Chef Atul Kochhar, belies the casual and relaxed vibe. The bar with a wide selection of Pisco sours catches your eye immediately. The menu offers sufficient a la carte options- nibbles, small plates like tiradito, churrasco grill, ceviche, large plates and some street food. There is also a Lima Grand Fiesta for those who want to experience a hassle-free set meal. The bar menu is impressive, to say the least. Carnivores are naturally in merry heaven here. The Tortilla Chips with an array of in-house punchy and addictive dips tingle your taste buds. Inspired by Brazil’s traditional churrasco barbecues, Executive Chef Jerry Thomas serves some delectable treats – Chicken Gochujang, Nikkei Prawns And Yucca Smoked. The Ceviche Classico with seabass is invigorating for the palate as the fresh and citrusy flavours make you crave for more. The Tacu-Tacu Taco with refried beans is a treat, vegetarians must not miss. A meal here makes you realise that bombardment of flavours is after all not a bad thing. Even though you are satiated, it is hard to resist a Yucca Tresleche as good as the one here.

Although Mumbai has a very rich and advanced gastronomy scene, it sadly lacks in South American cuisine, something which Chef Atul Kocchar tried to tackle. His decision to explore this untapped branch of world gastronomy is refreshing especially when we were in dire need of a palate change. His vision was personified in the form of ‘Lima’, a swanky hip bar ensconced in the trendy splendour of Bandra Kurla Complex. The bar soon became a sensation overnight due to its plush décor and even better menu that tickles the senses. Foodies flock to Lima constantly to savour their delectable food.
