The melange of colours, mix and match avant-garde furniture, oversized lights, high ceilings, Latin American music, add to the appeal of this Hispanic kitchen and bar, which exudes a relaxed vibe. The attractive bar in one corner is hard to miss. The carefully curated menu offers Mexican, Coastal South American and Caribbean cuisines with ample variety in each section, but a tad ambitious. This place is bound to delight carnivores. The bar menu too is exhaustive and promises some distinctive cocktails. There is an undue emphasis on presentation in the food. Some of the dishes are an example of haphazard flavour amalgamation in a deliberate bid to impress. The Beet Salad disappoints as it is low on flavours and unimaginative. The Smoked Salmon And Queso from the ‘cocas’ section stands out. The Burritos are worth a try. The Causa La Buena Vida boasts of interesting textures and flavours. The desserts are undoubtedly the highlight here. Tres Leches is luscious and creamy and the portion extremely generous. The signature Sweet Potato Cake is equally unique and worth trying. The staff is friendly and the service alert.
