Zorawar Kalra has found great success in Mumbai with his Masala Library, the city’s hardest restaurant to get into. He has now extended that principle to the bar space with this modern drinking place with a wonderful view of the Arabian Sea off the coast of Bandra. The idea is to offer new world-new age cocktails in beautiful surroundings and the bar-tenders (sorry, they like to be called mixologists these days) specialise in drinks that use high-tech methods to create foams, airs and distillations that sometimes defy belief. But there is serious food also, overseen by Kalra himself and Sourabh Udinia, the group’s star chef. This makes it a great place for anyone who can’t get a place at Masala Library and still wants to try the cuisine.
