This 60-year-old bakery is one of the few remaining Irani bakeries in Mumbai. The facade outside is shaped like a pagoda as it occupies the premises of what was once a Japanese bank. There are a few benches and tables where you can sit and have some hot Irani chai along with bun maska (butter), brun maska, khari biscuits and mava cakes before you buy some soft bread and pao and step back into the modern world.
