Life can be strange. Many years ago, Vineet Bhatia was the Chef at Kandahar, the Oberoi's Indian restaurant. Then he went abroad and won two Michelin stars (in London and Geneve). When it was time for the Oberoi to close Kandahar and re-invent its Indian restaurant, it turned to Vineet. He is now back in the same space but not as just an outlet chef but as the superstar-chef serving a signature menu. The restaurant has taken a little time to settle down because Mumbai needed to come to terms with Vineet's innovations and he needed to find the right balance between tradition and originality. But now, Ziya has found its equilibrium and packs in South Mumbai diners and hotel guests alike.
Ziya is a well known restaurant located in the Oberoi hotel, Mumbai. The restaurant serves North Indian delicacies. You can drop in here to have a nice lunch or dinner as per your wish.
