The idea as you know is all about appetizers and grills on the table and then you can serve some mains for yourself, ending with a varied choice of desserts. The mains are the basics like 'Biryani', 'Dal Makhni' and 'Rice'. The meat is well cooked, so it maybe a good idea for meat eaters to be relieved that the curries are decently made. It is in fact like ‘Shaadi ka Khaana’ where you get mobile starters and appetizers to start your meal with. Some are hits and some are misses. They do not partly roast the veggies or meat for the grill. To grill that and smoke that up, you will need at least 35 minutes to get things rolling. Make sure you ask the boys to partly cook them up and then serve it on the table which will very easily get things going. So, mainly the appetizers are named in a very posh manner as if you were the King and that is the meal you are eating. Classics like 'Prawn Tandoori', 'Chicken Tikka', 'Fish Amritsari' are good and they taste fine. For the mains, you will get some nicely cooked Paneer dish with a choice of Soya or Mushrooms cooked in Hyderabadi style. Stick to 'Dal Makhni' and 'Rice' or maybe the 'Biryani' as it is. Among desserts, try the kulfis which are topped with different types of toppings like 'Paan Masala', 'Oreo Crumbs' and several others.
Been with the family for lunch , Very Good Ambiance, very courteous staff , personalised attention , unlimited starters of veg and non veg grills and barbecues. Main course is average , dessert and fruit platter is very limited. Overall great experience and recommended for families and friends get together.
Had a business meeting in this area so decided to visit Barbque nation. Actually it is located on top floor of hotel key where they have a buffet lunch at ground floor but that was full. We used to visit it as Citrus buffet. So went to top floor which is a happening place with many groups parties etc. In fact waiters asked us if a birthday party etc. But ours is a simple business meeting. Started with panipuri and aloo tikki. Seven veg starters with varied chutney. Almost same number nine veg starters. With pop corn we were almost full. Main course also have good choice but no stamina to eat. Then desert I tried hot JALEBI and baby GulabJamun. Many choices of ice cream. Staff waters were nice enthusiastic and friendly. A very nice experience.
If you decide to full your stomach with tasty food, this place is for you. I have been to Barbeque nations several times. And each time its delightful experience.
Easily approachable. Centrally located. Good ambience. Good spread. Lovely starters. They urge you to taste different items always asking for your suggestions. Recommend to visit this place. Worth the money!! Lastly, ample space for parking!!
I went here for a team lunch. The ambiance was not so great. Food was average. Service was pretty good.
It doesn’t take long to endear oneself to the culinary bonanza of Barbeque Nation. One of the fastest growing food chains in the country, Barbeque Nation is an indoor fine dining experience famous for its live grills and luxurious all-you-can-eat buffets. Always full to the hilt, the ambience here is cheerful and rambunctious. The place maybe too loud for couples but if you want the pleasure of grilling your own food and want to feast on their generous buffet spread then this is it. To check out the restaurant with your date for a Special Occasion, go to City One Mall on Old Pune-Mumbai Highway in Pimpri, Pune.
