The décor is all soothing blue and white, with pops of colour around in low, stained glass fencing, which segregates a section full of tables-for-two. There is also a sprawling indoor seating, but the patio is well illuminated at night and a gentle breeze could help work up an appetite. The cocktails here are definitely one of the highlights – choice picks were the Konkan Nashik lonchaa (vodka, sweet lime pickle, rock salt), the taka tak firangi flower (whisky, elderflower, rosemary, pineapple juice, fresh pineapple and bitters), and the gulabooo (vodka, earl gray tea, rose syrup and lemon). And, without a doubt, the creative take on the bloody Mary with beer and a prawn garnish! Swig on these with the kasoori methi cottage cheese starter, or the sweet-spicy beetroot galawat kababs – other recommendations include the fried nest of mashed green peas, green chillies, onions and garlic. For those who want something meaty, the curry leaf chicken kabab or ginger chicken wings with a brown sugar glaze are stellar meal-starters, too, as is the clay oven-roasted chaap made Malwani style. Mains list out quite an appealing array of niharis, paneer curries, biryanis, and more – the Coorgi lamb curry with minced meat and offal is a must-order for the experimentals, as is the Mirpakya Kodi Andhra chicken with guntur red chillies.
