This restaurant, with its soft music and inviting ambience, is the perfect place to catch a moment of tranquility. The seating comprises comfy but chic-looking leather chair-tables whose beige and brown are juxtaposed with pleasant touches of teal and mauve in the high seats. One side has a glass window while the other flows out into the lobby, and there is a well-stocked bar connecting the two parts of the establishment. It is easy to idle away a few hours here with a glass of their finest wine, accompanied perhaps by a plate of bruschetta with eggplant and feta crumble, or a duo of sesame-crusted Scottish salmon with a colourful baby spinach and orange salad. Also sample a slice of the heady Baileys-soaked cheesecake or spoonfuls of the warm, buttery, freshly baked apple tart with honey vanilla mousse – sweet cherubs.
