Masala Bar is a fancy restaurant which gives diners an experience of molecular gastronomy in Indian cuisine. The upmarket bar has plush seats covered in suede. The service is top-notch. The range of appetizers including ‘Wah Wah Soya Chaap’ is perfect for vegetarians. A small section of the menu shows reinventions of the street food in India, one of them being the ‘Dhokla Bhel’, a classy interpretation of dhokla with assorted chutney foams and sev. The carnivores would not feel left out because there is an elaborate range of starters. The ‘Rawas Fry Dan Dan Noodles’ is a must-have if you like seafood. With all that food, you need some drinks which are not only tastefully done but also great on presentation. The portion size of the food is commendable and good enough to share with others on the table. A great idea for mains is to stick to classics with some twist. We recommend you to try the ‘Mushroom Do Pyaaza’ and it is quite nice, served with an ‘Olive Naan’ – a little unnatural but pairs well with the gravy. To call it a meal, order the ‘Chocolate Lava Cake with Coffee Crumble and Caramel Icecream’.
