Classy, innovative and romantic are three good ways to describe this place, easily one of the city’s poshest. It was also the first in the city to dabble in ‘molecular gastronomy’ – and the menu has some pretty mind-blowing fare lined up. From elegant soups (cognac and curry roasted lobster bisque) to salads of unexpected beauty (charred peaches with baby spinach, hazelnut nougat and coriander gremolata), the menu progresses to refined hors d’oeuvres, mouth-watering wood-fired pizzas and gourmet burgers (Jack Daniels barbequed chicken with a spicy cilantro-peanut slaw, anybody?). Things just get better with pastas, risottos, and mains – the latter spans everything from a miso crust to a mulled wine braise, a veg bharta to simply varied textures of corn, and even some classic surf ‘n’ turf.
