There is painstaking attention to detail put into every single element of the food here, right from the main dish to the accompanying dip and pâté. You could start with the pickled beetroot salad that comes with soft dollops of feta mousse, tangy orange crisps, watermelon chunks, olive oil powder and a light drizzle of balsamic reduction – refreshing! Next, delve into the scrumptious peanut chutney stuffed Portobello mushrooms served on a bed of chunda yogurt with khakra tuile, or creamy malai prawn tartlets with homemade shortbread. For mains, I would recommend the rich, velvety tagliatelle tossed with sharp blue cheese, pear, spinach and crunchy almonds; the coastal prawn curry that comes with some ingenious mango-jalapeño curd rice, or my personal favourite – the prawn and Goan chorizo risotto topped with lemon and dill sour cream and fennel shavings.
