Dim lights, rustic brown interiors, and beautiful food served in charming copper vessels – stepping inside this restaurant feels like entering an ancient Mughal haveli. The seating capacity is limited (only four to five tables), but food is where this place displays its bigheartedness – in terms of portions as well as flavour. For the kabab fans, the murgh dahi lasooni tikka is creamy and has the slight zing of garlic and the galouti kabab – a soft minced meat patty wrapped in a mini wheat roti – makes for a juicy mouthful. But it is really their sikandari raan masala which is the stuff of legends. The mutton is so tender and well-cooked, it literally falls off the bone – truly Qabil-e-Taareef!
