We tried the 'Pomfret Vodka Tava' which was the fresh catch. It was marinated and cooked with peculiar Desi spices rubbed all over the fish, the fish was then carried to the table and flambéed right in front of us. A lot has been told and experienced about the theatrics in food but the taste works wonder once you eat it and the vodka is mainly for the show-off, not that it changed or enhanced the already good-tasting pomfret. There is a lot of variety in mains as well and the whole idea of North Indian and Mughlai dishes continues. You might want to reserve some space for those fancy drinks which are made classically well and served chilled. For desserts, you may try the classic ‘Gulab Jamun’ and ‘Kulfi’.
