YOLO marries pop culture zing with traditional flavour, with starters such as lamb chilli nachos (balchao, kheema, etc.), crostinis, wok tosses, shish kababs (paprika-sumac fish with lemon aioli and harissa prawns with chilly mayo), momos and so on. We like the idea of the Tex-Mex corn-potato burger with caramelised pineapple and jalapeño mayo; the Fruits of the Sea pizza packs on pescetarian delights, and the chorizo-cheese-jalapeño one delights as well. The menu mainly spans Indian and oriental, with special mention to the broccoli Manchurian, grilled mustard whole pomfret with beet mash, Moroccan lamb tagine, kung pao chicken and Naga style pork with bamboo shoot. If unusual sweets such as mango panna cotta, caramelised gulab jamun and espresso crème brûlée are not enough, dessert cocktails – the Chocolate Orgasm (Baileys, scotch, vanilla ice cream, brownies and choc sauce) – are also at hand.
