This is a restaurant where the interiors will always make a lasting impression especially because it is a take on a highway dhaba – with a truck, signboards and its rustic ambience. That is truly where all the fun begins. The Banta Sodas are a great option for a non-alcoholic drink, especially the 'Aam Panna' Banta. We loved the 'Saag Ki Tikki' and the 'Dilli Ki Nihari', both of which we could not stop eating. The 'Malai Chicken Tikka' was creamy with a lovely bite to it while the 'Galouti Kebab' was absolutely bursting with flavours and was melt-in-the-mouth. Skip dessert, have a 'Meethi Lassi' instead. Large quantities so make sure you have lots of people to share with.
The Old traditional Dhaba style food can never go out of style! The muddy fragrance with sumptuous food and smoky flavors is itself an experience to behold. On the cold chilly winter mornings, when you’re headed on the highway for a long journey or a road trip, the Dhabas on the sideways are true saviors. The homely food served with little extra spice tang rejuvenates us all together.
The traditional North Indian Food eateries serve literally, pleasure in their own kind. We all would have some or the other childhood memory of visiting the Dhabas and savoring the overly buttery tongue ticking food! If you wish to revisit those days of eating at the Dhaba and want to cherish the yummy, finger-licking buttery food, “Dhaba- Estd 1986 Delhi” is the right destination.
The ambiance of this rustic Dhaba style restaurant is quirky and vintage. You’ll be amazed at the trucks fitted conveniently inside the restaurant style. The seating too takes you back to the early twenty century with rope cots arranged in a traditional style.
More than the ambiance and interiors, you’ll be pleased with the food they serve. The traditional North Indian cuisine is a delight for every Indian and spicing it up with authentic herbs and spices of our very own land adds a more flavorful twist to it.
The Epicuria Mall in Nehru place is conveniently famous for plenty of top-notch food eateries and restaurants established there. The Dhaba- Estd 1986 Delhi is one of them. The location offers you many advantages and you can sneak some great time with your family and friends at this great place.
The Dhaba has an elaborate and exhaustive menu consisting largely of the traditional North Indian cuisines. They have a special “Recipies from 1986 section”. This section contains “Tandoori Bhune alloo”, “Veg Galouti”, “Galouti Kabab”, “Amritsari Machhi” and “Chicken Tak A Tak”. All these dishes are amazingly famous among their loyal customers and we highly recommend trying at least one of them.
