Global Desi Tadka, as the name suggests is a restaurant with a desi theme offering multi-cuisine food with an Indian touch. The food here is definitely desi, including the Chinese, Italian, Mexican and others but as many Indians are not used to the foreign taste, this works quite well for them. This restaurant is on the fourth floor of Gulmohar Mall. It has a large space done up in an Indian theme. It has a large artificial banyan tree at the centre with seating booths all around the restaurant close to the walls. There is space in the middle for dancing, etc when hosting a party. The place offers buffet style meals with several live counters serving hot fresh food. Once you have paid and entered the place, you are welcomed with a drink and then begins the feast from soup, starters to main course and desserts. This is a vegetarian restaurant. They serve North Indian food, including tandoori items like Paneer Tikka, Aloo Tikka, stuffed Mushrooms, etc, Rajasthani food, like Dal Batti, Gujarati delicacies like Dhokla, Mexican tacos, Italian pasta, Chinese noodles and Machurian, etc. Totally there are around 70 different items on offer here and the service is good with stewards encouraging you to try out the various items on display. Also, there are many live counters making food right there like Tandoori items, Chinese items and Chat, etc.
