TG’s, The Oriental Grill, which is a newly opened restaurant has already become hugely popular. One has to book in advance to be sure of getting a table even on weekdays here. This restaurant serves various far eastern cuisines and it serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The interiors of the restaurant are done up to showcase the Teppanyaki grills and most of the seating is around these grills to ensure that customers can watch the chefs in action showcasing their knife and cooking skills. The interiors are done up in beige, fawn and white colours. There are 4 Teppanyaki grills in the restaurant. There is also an enclosure where one can have private get-togethers which also has a Teppanyaki grill. The menu has the famous Japanese offering sushi, top Chinese snack dim sums, Thai curries, soups, and many main course dishes. I would recommend the guava-based mocktail with green chillies in it which adds a sting at the end to it. I had the 'Chicken Garlic Soup' which was lovely. Sushi comes in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian versions here. You can try sushi which contains 'Paneer', 'Mushroom' and also the more well known raw 'Salmon or Eel fish'. The presentations of Sushi are beautiful and it looks very appetizing. Definitely, one must have the ''Edamame', green soya, it is a great way to begin and it tastes lovely with the strong garlic flavour. Also, it is a healthy meal. At TG’s they make 'Garlic Chips', thinly sliced garlic fried right in front of you. Have this along with your meal. The 'Prawns in Yellow Thai Curry' is a must-have dish for seafood lovers.
