A simple Vietnamese menu that focuses on popular dishes and some lesser known recipes - what gives Phobidden Fruit the edge over many other Asian restaurants is its adherence to flavour. The four things that you must try here are: the mekong momos that come with a choice of filling of vegetarian, chicken and pork and are served with a tomato garlic dip; the summer roll (garden vegetables and herbs wrapped in a rice paper roll and that comes with the option of vegetarian, prawn and chicken); the seasonal pomelo salad (pray that it is available); and, finally, the pho, a rice noodle soup meal that will keep you coming back for more.
