Weekends are usually chock-a-bloc in lounges and restaurants around town. If you are looking for some quiet time to chill or a spirited night out, Slounge is an option. The hip recreation bar is housed in Lemon Tree Hotel. While you are most likely to bump into an in-house guest, the bar does its best to liven things up. The interiors are understated with wooden beams dominating the ceiling. Taking centre stage is the pool table and it makes for a good pass time as you unwind over a drink. There are high bar stools and tables that give this place a casual feel. The music – mostly popular songs – will set you in the mood. The menu is fairly concise and offers an array of finger food. On offer are light bites like ‘Masala Papad’ and ‘Masala Peanuts’. If you are looking for starters that could well replace a light meal, then go for ‘Soya Malai Chaap’ that’s served with mint chutney. The menu also brings in Asian flavours. The service is satisfactory and pricing is easy on the wallet.
