Every meal I have had at Nimtho has been as good as the first meal I have had there. Whether it is been a soup, salad or a main course, every single one has been consistent. I have my clear favourites at this restaurant. 'Churpy Ko Rass' is a Himalayan Cheese dish which has to be eaten to know how delicious it is, 'Wai Wai Sadekho' – a crunchy salad with wai wai noodles and the 'Tareko Pork' –a wok-fried pork which tastes as superb on its own as it does with as a side with rice and dal. Nimtho also specializes in momos – from fried to steamed to those in 'Tingmo' (a kind of a Bao) these are one of the best things to order off the menu. If you do want to try some of the Sikkimese curries opt for 'Sikkimese Thali' which includes freshly sautéed greens and the meat of your choice. Do not forget the dessert – the 'Sikarni' – a baked Yogurt – is absolutely to-die-for.
