Takamaka believes in going all out for the pleasure of its diners. Their menu is an elaborate affair of 16 pages, focuses on various cuisines at the same time. A gourmet can have a gala time wading through a selection of North Indian, Continental, Italian and Chinese dishes. Takamaka runs a microbrewery too, so for beer lovers this place is heaven. Pair your meal with Takamaka’s range of craft beers. Other kinds of booze features on the menu too. Enjoy your first course of, Mexican quesadillas, chilly garlic mushroom, raunaq-e-seekh, classic bruschetta, hakka fish dry, kafir lime paneer shashlik and kakori kebab. Follow that with some of chef’s specials. He whips up, Takamaka pizza naanza, 12 hour lamb shoulder, assorted Chinese greens with steamed rice, loaded crunchy delight, gosht dum pukht masala, risotto con funghi and herb crusted river sole.
End your evening at Takamaka with a sweet touch. Let the chef woo you with offering of, tiramisu, cheese cake, Takamaka special and chocolate puri with paan (!). Call ahead and ask about their live music nights. It’s much more pleasing to visit then. The bar is spread across three floors (phew!), offering a multiple seating options to the diners. Try their rooftop deck or pick a cozy corner indoors. Takamaka is themed after a cruise ship and they leave no stone unturned to give you the feeling of being on a ship. Servers are dressed as cruise staff. Interiors are well designed and seem informal, trendy and attractive at the same time. This place is not too expensive.
